What happens to the information you send us through this website. Written plainly, and short, because there is not much of it.
Who is responsible
This website is operated by impulss, based in Rīga, Latvia. For anything on this page, write to info@impulssweb.lv.
We are the data controller for the information described below, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR).
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your company name if you give one, your phone or WhatsApp number, and the description of your business. Nothing else is asked for and nothing is inferred.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard server request data — IP address, time, page requested and browser type — for security and to keep the site running. That is normal server logging and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and to quote for the work. That is the only purpose. The lawful basis is Article 6(1)(b), taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and where that does not apply, our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in responding to someone who has contacted us.
Who else sees it
Your message is delivered to our inbox by Resend, an email delivery service, and the site is hosted by Vercel. Both are processors acting on our instructions. Google Analytics receives the browsing data described under Cookies and tracking below, but never what you type into the enquiry form. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to answer you or to carry out the work, and for as long as Latvian accounting and tax law requires us to keep records. After that they are deleted.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read and where they arrived from. It sets cookies in your browser for that, and Google receives your IP address, the pages you view and general information about your device. We use it only to understand how the site is used, never to identify you personally, and we run no advertising or remarketing on it. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which is a separate request to Google's servers that also carries your IP address. You can block all of this with a browser extension such as Google's own opt-out add-on, or by refusing cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Write to info@impulssweb.lv and we will deal with it within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), dvi.gov.lv.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date below. Last updated: 2 September 2026.
